Hugginz by Angel, Canada's Warmest Hug

Little boy Waving

The unit by us at work houses an older couple who run a custom embroidery business. They have a grandson who is probably 2 now. The couple watch him sometimes and the little boy likes to stand at the glass door and look at the big trucks and cars out on the street.

A while ago - when he was much younger I started waving at him. Initially he wasn't very interested in me, then he seemed curious, and later began to wave back.

Over the past year he has learned to say "Hi".

Now we get a really excited wave and a big loud "Hi" which really comes out quite muffled through the glass doors.

I don't know this boy's name. I probably should find out.

But every time I see his lovely, smiling face I smile and for a moment I think, we know each other and we make each other happy.
